Pediatric Morning Report and Rounds

Hi all--

This is the first blog that I have ever posted to. Read many (lurking, I guess it is called) but haven't participated in any. I'm looking forward to posting my thoughts and seeing if I get any return comments.

As you see from the title, I wear a few hats. I am an AV Librarian at the University of Kentucky Medical Center AudioVisual Library but also am a Clinical Librarian at University of Kentucky Children's Hospital in Lexington, KY. Every Mon. and Wed., another colleague or I participate in Peds Morning Report and Rounds with an Attending Doctor or Hospitalist, 3-4 Residents and about 3-4 3rd year medical students. It has been a wonderful learning experience! My skills as a librarian have been sharpened and my awareness of how precious life is has been heightened.
